This is the Privacy Policy ("Policy") of EASYCOMMUTE TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as ("Company"). The Privacy Policy explains our policy regarding the collection, use, disclosure and transfer of your information by the company.

The Company respects the privacy of the users of the company's services and is committed to reasonably protect it in all respects. The information about the user as collected by the Company is: (a) information supplied by users and (b) information automatically tracked while using a mobile device having mobile applications (collectively referred to as Information).

  1. THE PLATFORM AND CLIENTS

    Our services (the "Services"), which are made available to you ("Clients") through our website located at www.easycommute.in (the "Website") and/or through mobile software applications that we license to you (the "App"). The Website and the App are collectively referred to herein as the "Platform". By signing up, accessing and/or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by terms of this policy.

  2. INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT

    "Information" for the purposes of this Policy means following information:

    1. Personal Information - Name, Email, Mobile phone number and Contacts of clients.
    2. GeoLocational Information - GPS Location of clients.
    3. Other Information - Wi-fi state of the clients.

  3. PURPOSE OF COLLECTION

    Your privacy is our priority. We will use your Personal Information, Geolocational Information and Other Information (collectively, the ("Information") for the following purposes:

    • to provide you with the Services and enable you to use the Services;
    • to improve and customize your experience on the Platform;
    • to provide you with support, handle complaints to conduct activities necessary to maintain and provide our Services;
    • to send you Services-related updates, notices and announcements;
    • to provide you with information related to the Services;
    • to conduct surveys and questionnaires;
    • to enforce Company's Terms of Use;
    • to contact you regarding service and administration related issues as and when Company believes it to be necessary;
    • to comply with any applicable law and assist law enforcement agencies under any applicable law, when Company has good faith to believe that Company's cooperation with the law enforcement agencies is legally mandated or meets the applicable legal standards;

  4. PERMISSIONS IN ANDROID APP

    We need following permissions from You to enable us to effectively provide You services on our App:

    • to use your Wifi, if available, in order to provide better GPS accuracy.
    • to use your network state to provide better internet connectivity.
    • to access your contacts to make referral easy for You.
    • to use internet (whether mobile data services or wi-fi network, whichever is available) to enable server communications.
    • to use GPS service to enable tracking, navigation and other operational requirements.
    • to use wake lock to enable functioning of the app in background.
    • to access your email address to get a more personalized experience.

  5. SHARING OF INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES

    The company does not publish, sell, give on rent, trade, share or otherwise transfer any sensitive information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside our platform.

  6. SECURITY

    Company shall take all reasonable precautions by way of using current industry standard encryption technologies to protect Personal Information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

  7. ENFORCEMENT

    For any inquiries and complaints, the following email address may be used: care@easycommute.co. All inquiries and complaints shall be looked into promptly and without charging any fee to the inquirer / complainant.

  8. AMENDMENTS

    Company may modify this Policy in its sole discretion at any time. While the Company shall make best efforts to notify Clients of any such modification, it shall be Client's responsibility to read and understand the Policy as prevalent from time to time. Installation of the Platform shall be deemed to constitute acceptance of the Policy as amended.
